Cloud Outages
Cloud Outages is a data page on the Global Intelligence desk of Glassbox Auditing. Whether about 180 cloud, hosting, AI, developer, security, telecom and SaaS providers are up, from each one's official status page, with active incidents and every status change, read every five minutes. Many companies run their stores, payments and internal work on a handful of these providers, so one large outage stops business well beyond the provider.

What does this page lead to?
- Service Outages (Companies): Service Outages maps these providers to the tracked companies, so an outage here shows up there against each company that owns or depends on the service. (moves the same way; same day; company scale) Source: OutageDeck public API (cloud and SaaS provider status, normalized from official status pages).
- Cloud & Hubs (Companies): An outage at AWS, Azure or Google Cloud reaches the listed companies that say in their annual reports or the clouds' customer stories that they run on it. (either way, depending on the cause; same day; company scale) Source: AWS and Google Cloud customer stories.
- Flights (Travel): Airlines' booking, check-in and crew systems run on software and cloud providers; a failure there can delay or cancel flights for hours, as the faulty CrowdStrike update of 19 July 2024 did for thousands of flights. (moves the other way; same day; sector scale) Source: Yahoo Finance, U.S. Global Jets ETF (JETS).
- Stock by Stock (Markets): A long, widely felt outage at a listed provider has at times been followed by a fall in its shares and by customers' claims for service credits; brief incidents usually leave no mark. (moves the other way; same day; company scale) Source: Yahoo Finance prices.
- AI Companies (AI): Outages at AI model providers' APIs stop the apps and agents built on them for as long as they last, a dependency that grows as more companies route work through a few labs. (either way, depending on the cause; same day; sector scale) Source: OutageDeck public API (cloud and SaaS provider status, normalized from official status pages).
